If you have ever travelled to Croatia then you have probably had Posip wine. This Korta Katarina Posip is one of my favourites.

Posip Wine
Pošip is an indigenous white wine grape that is primarily grown in the Dalmatian region of Croatia on the island of Korčula. You will also see some Posip grown on the Pelješac Peninsula and on the island of Hvar.

Korta Katarina Posip
Korta Katarina Posip is made with grapes purchased from the vineyards in Čara on the island of Korčula. Čara Valley is located in the heart of the island between two hills and is protected from both strong southerly and northerly winds.
The open valley is important especially during the summer when it is extremely hot as it allows sea breezes to cool the valley. These valley grapes are full-bodied, balanced, and complex.
Posip is a golden-greenish colour and generally has flavours of citrus, white stone fruit, and floral notes with a slight bitterness.
This is an easy-drinking dry wine that is the perfect wine to enjoy during the summer months. It is great for patio season. It pairs well with oysters, seafood, salads, and poultry.
