November 11 is Tempranillo Day! We celebrated Tempranillo Day on Instagram with Anciano Tempranillo 7 years.
I love Spanish wine and this is one of my favorite Tempranillo’s. Did you know that Tempranillo is Spain’s number one red wine grape?
Anciano Tempranillo 7 Years

The Tempranillo grapes were hand-picked from 30-year-old vines located in stony vineyards. Valdepeñas means “valley of stones”.
Fermentation took place at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks for 8-10 days. The wine was then matured for at least eighteen months in American and French oak barriques that consist of varying toasting levels.
This full-bodied wine has flavours of cherry, plum, tobacco, leather, and some vanilla notes along with a smooth finish.
Perfect with grilled red meat, roast beef, and mature cheese.
